In light of a changing economy, increased efficiency in workplace design, and a new generation of office workers who think differently about their workplaces and communities than past generations, the future of the office market is changing. With a tightening federal footprint and unprecedented competition at the regional level, a systemic shift in the office market is well underway.
Moreover, tenants across the board are using office space more efficiently as a means to improve productivity and employee satisfaction and not least, to reduce costs. This has produced office layouts that would have been unimaginable just fifteen years ago. Studies show that productivity increases with the right balance of a cool office, great culture and a mission people believe in.
In a new video series, the Arlington Real Estate Group (AREG) sought out to uncover some of Arlington’s awesome office spaces. Jessica Miller, Co-chair of AREG, takes an inside tour of LMO Advertising’s new office in Arlington, VA.
With increasing competition for the top talent in today’s workforce, Jessica searches Arlington for forward-thinking companies who have figured out how to keep their employees engaged and get their teams to want to come to the office. “You don’t need an office to do the work we do anymore,” explained Scott Laughlin, Co-owner, LMO Advertising. “What you need is a home. A place where people want to come and be, and spend time together.”
Looks like LMO figured out the secret formula for success.
